Victory for Belgium in 1986
The Eurovision Song Contest is organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which brings together Europe’s public broadcasters.
To participate, each country must present a song, previously unreleased and no longer than three minutes, performed live by a maximum of six people. Belgium have only won once, thanks to Sandra Kim and her “J’aime la vie” in 1986.
