Eurovision 2022: Lidia Kopania’s disastrous performance! The songwriters broke the silence

Lidia Kopania she was fourth on the scene during the Eurovision qualifiers. The singer performed the song “Why Does It Hurt”, but her performance ended in a disaster.

The song “Why Does It Hurt” was created Ylva and Linda Perssonand Rickard Bonde Truumeel. They are also the songwriters “Flashlight” (listen!) with which Kasia Moś went to Eurovision in 2017.

Shortly after Lidia Kopania’s performance, comments appeared on the web Ylvy i Lindy Persson, which stated that the recorded song sounded completely different than what the Polish woman presented on stage, and the Polish woman deliberately spoiled the song.

“It was a sad moment for us authors during the live performance of Lidia Kopania in the final of Polish preselections for Eurovision. We were hoping for something professional from the former Eurovision participant, but unfortunately [Lidia] She sang not our melody and not our words that we made up. We wanted to point out that as songwriters we had no influence on what she intentionally did on stage and we don’t want to be associated with it. A good song was wasted “- we read in the statement of the artists.

In one of the comments, the authors of the song, when asked why Kopania spoiled the song on purpose, wrote: “We found out from the artist that she knew beforehand who would be the winner and that’s why she decided to spoil the song”.

Ylva and Linda also added that they have already worked with Kopania many times and the cooperation has always been very good. The singer herself in an interview with the authors was to confirm that she spoiled the song on purpose and had good reasons for it. “Otherwise, we would not have come out with this information,” we read. Lidia Kopania herself did not comment on her performance in public.
