“Eurostat”: Latvia had a higher unemployment rate in January than the EU and eurozone average

The EU average unemployment, according to seasonally adjusted data, was at the level of 6.1% in January, while it was 6.7% on average in the eurozone member states.

“Eurostat” data show that in January 13.227 million people were unemployed in the bloc, of which 11.288 million were unemployed in the eurozone countries.
