The vacancy rate in Latvia in the third quarter was 2.6%. The highest vacancy rates in July-September were in the Czech Republic (5.1%), Belgium (4.7%), the Netherlands (4.2%), Austria (3.8%), Germany (3.3%) and Slovenia. and Finland (2.8% in both countries)
The EU average vacancy rate was 2.4% in the third quarter and 2.6% in the euro area.
The vacancy rate in Estonia was 1.9%, in Lithuania it was 2%, and the lowest in Greece was 0.7%.
Data are not available for Denmark, France and Italy.
The vacancy rate is expressed as a percentage of the total number of vacancies available to all jobs already filled in the economy.
