“After several heart tests, it was decided that Eriksen will have an ICD (or a subcutaneous defibrillator). He has accepted this decision.” This is written in the statement of the Danish federation, drawn up together with the doctors of Righospitalet where the player is still hospitalized (he will be discharged tomorrow). In the statement there is no mention of diagnosis, the federation does not specify what caused the cardiac arrhythmia, even if everything suggests that it is myocarditis.
