The launch of the European rocket Vega you haven’t had easy days lately. In July 2019, a failure even led to its destruction as a precautionary measure. Several launch attempts in June this year were halted due to an unfavorable high-altitude climate above the space port of Kourou. The last postponement was this Tuesday, with a typhoon passing near a station in South Korea. This morning the story was different. Vega was successfully launched at 02:51 in Lisbon (10:51 pm on Wednesday local time), carrying 53 satellites with it. After almost two hours the flight ended, with the launch of the last satellite.
