Organized from last Friday to this Sunday, the European U21 Tournament or more commonly known as the Ploufragan Tournament delivered its verdict at the end of July. The final phase has delivered its verdict

This Sunday, the final phase was disputed. RC Standard de Liège was therefore opposed to Bournemouth and won with the score of three goals to two during a penalty shootout after a goalless draw. Same scenario between Stade Rennais and En Avant Guingamp. The club whose flag team evolves in Ligue 2 won with the score of six goals to five. The small final between OGC Nice and AS Monaco saw the club from the Principality sink and lose three goals to nil. Finally, ASSE lost in the final against Paris FC also on penalties. After a one-goal draw, the two teams whose professional team plays in Ligue 2 were separated by a score of eight goals to seven.
