Most European stock indices recorded noticeable gains by the end of today’s trading, according to the following:
- The German index rose by 26 points, or by 0.16%, to reach 15,729 points.
- The French CAC index was the highest gainer among European stocks, rising by 84 points, or 1.13%, to reach 7481 points.
- The British FTSE 100 index recorded a gain of 0.24%, recording about 7,843 points.
- The Ibex index records a gain of 0.34%, and settles near the level of 9310 points.
- The Italian FTSE MIB index violates European stocks, declining by 0.01%, and recording about 27,626.61 points.
It should be noted that the European stock indices rose at the end of Wednesday’s session, after data indicated a slowdown in inflation in the United States, as the European Stoxx 600 index rose by 0.1% to 462.3 points at the close.
Meanwhile, the British FTSE 100 rose by 0.5% to 7,824 points, and the German DAX rose by 0.3%, recording 15,703 thousand points. Also, the French CAC index rose slightly by 0.09% and settled at 7,396 points.
