European stock markets experience a slight decline as investors await economic data.

The performance of European stock indices declined almost collectively during today’s trading, prior to the announcement of the final readings of the purchasing managers’ indices for the service and composite sectors for several European countries.

And by 01:42 pm Emirates time, the European Stoxx 600 index fell by 0.21 percent, or the equivalent of 0.96 points, to reach 456.38 points.

The German “DAX” index fell by 0.28 percent, or 44.3 points, to reach 15,559.96 points, and the French “CAC 40” index fell by 17.2 points, or 0.23 percent, to 7,327.11 points.

The “Euro Stoxx 50” index decreased by 0.25 percent, or 10.99 points, to reach the level of 4303.63 points, while the British “FTSE 100” index alone rose by 0.28 percent, or the equivalent of 21.3 points, to reach the level of 7655.8 points.
