European Stock Market Ends Up, Piazza Affari Lags Behind | October 30, 2023

(Teleborsa) – The financial session of the European stock exchanges ends on an upward note, while Piazza Affari lags behind, ending close to the values ​​of the day before. The Stars and Stripes market was substantially tonic, with the S&P-500 recording a gain of 0.58%.

Slight increase for the Euro / US Dollar, showing an increase of 0.40%. Gold maintains its position essentially stable at 1,998.8 dollars an ounce. Sales prevail on oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil), which continues the day at 82.75 dollars per barrel, down sharply by 3.26%.

The spread between the yield of the BTP and that of the German Bund is reduced, settling at +190 basis points, with the yield of the 10-year BTP standing at 4.73%.

In the colorless European stock market scenario, Frankfurt, which does not record significant changes compared to the previous session, London advances by 0.50%, and Paris moves modestly higher, showing an increase of 0.44%.

Piazza Affari ends the session at the levels of the day before, reporting a change of +0.19% on the FTSE MIB, while, on the contrary, a small leap forward for the FTSE Italia All-Share, which reaches 29,096 points.

The FTSE Italia Mid Cap (+0.67%) is just above parity; with a similar direction, fractional gains for the FTSE Italia Star (+0.24%).

Among the best large-cap Italian stocks, Mediobanca moves in positive territory, showing an increase of 3.46%.

Money on Saipem, which recorded an increase of 3.17%.

Definitely positive results for Banca MPS, which boasts growth of 2.80%.

Good performance for Leonardo, which grew by 2.35%.

The worst performances, however, were recorded on STMicroelectronics, which closed at -6.02%.

Sales are concentrated on Stellantis, which suffers a decline of 1.61%.

Amplifon undertone showing a reduction of 1.48%.

CNH Industrial was disappointing, falling just below the previous day’s levels.

At the top among Italian mid-cap stocks, Fincantieri (+5.76%), Buzzi Unicem (+3.72%), Banca Ifis (+3.57%) and Illimity Bank (+2.96%).

The worst performances, however, were recorded on Eurogroup Laminations, which closed at -2.65%.

Sales on De’ Longhi, which recorded a decline of 2.54%.

Negative session for Italmobiliare, which showed a loss of 1.68%.

Fiacca Industrie De Nora, which shows a small decrease of 1.29%.
