Live: European stock indices declined at the end of Tuesday’s trading session, despite the rise in financial market confidence in the Eurozone economies, with attention turning to the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy meeting.
At the end of trading, the European Stoxx 600 index fell by 0.2% to 472.7 points, with losses in the energy, mining, automotive, utilities and banking sectors.
While the value of the French “CAC” index fell by 0.1% at 7,543 points, the British “FTSE 100” index stabilized at 7,542 points, while the value of the German “DAX” index did not change and ended the session at 16,791 points.
