European stock indexes fell during trading on Monday to abandon their highest levels in three months after climbing for four straight sessions.
The European Stoxx 600 index fell by 0.93%, or the equivalent of 4.13 points, to reach 436.56 points.
The Euro Stoxx 50 index fell by 0.86%, or 34.08 points, to reach the level of 3928.34 points, and the French CAC 40 index fell by 64 points, or 0.96%, to reach 6648.68 points.
Germany’s DAX index fell 1%, or the equivalent of 144.8 points, to reach 14,396.65 points, while Britain’s FTSE index fell 0.41%, or the equivalent of 30, 9 points, to reach the level of 7,455.73 points.
