European Space Agency’s Juice Probe Takes Gravitational Slingshot to Jupiter, Arriving in 2031

The European Space Agency’s Juice space probe will pass close to the blue planet before making its way to Jupiter, where it should arrive in 2031, that is, seven years from now. The route takes advantage of the Earth’s gravitational force, the so-called slingshot effect, to take swings on the way to the gas giant.
