Liputan6.com, Darmstadt – So far, experts at the European Space Agency (ESA) can see the planet Mars, but not directly live. Now, there are advances that allow us to see the planet as it really is right then.
Media CNN reported, Friday (2/6/2023), that the European Space Agency will make its debut live streaming or live broadcast from Planet Mars. A show that will reveal the red planet in a whole new light.
This Friday, the European Space Agency will broadcast live streaming Of YouTube for an hour to display the picture live first straight from Mars.
This event is to celebrate 20th anniversary launch of the agency’s Mars Express — a mission to take three-dimensional images of the planet’s surface to get a more complete view of it.
If interested, you can watch this premiere on ESA’s YouTube account for one hour starting at 6 pm Central European Time, or 23.00 WIB.
Although it will not really live like a video, impressions streaming it will display a new image every 50 seconds on the watch, the agency said.
Updates will also be available on the ESA’s Twitter account and hashtags #MarsLIVE.
“Usually, we see an image of Mars and know it was taken days in advance,” James Godfrey, spacecraft operations manager at ESA’s mission control center in Darmstadt, Germany, said in a statement.
“I’m so excited to be able to see Mars as it is now – it’s the closest we’ve ever come to feeling like a Martian!” he added.
