The Red and Black will once again be numerous in the jersey of the XV of France. On Tuesday, French coach Fabien Galthié revealed a list of 42 players called up to prepare for the 2022 6 Nations Tournament. And Stade Toulousain, reigning European champions, will be the best-represented club with 10 players called up: Cyril Baille, François Cros, Peato Mauvaka, Romain Ntamack, Antoine Dupont, Matthis Lebel, Thomas Ramos, Thibaud Flament, Anthony Jelonch and Julien Marchand.

All the French clubs involved in the Champions Cup this season will be represented with Racing 92 (6 players selected), Stade Rochelais (5), Stade Français Paris (1), Castres Olympique (2), ASM Clermont Auvergne ( 3), Union Bordeaux-Bègles (3) and Montpellier Hérault Rugby (3). Among the 42 players selected by Fabien Galthié, seven have no selection in the jersey of the XV of France: Jules Favre (Stade Rochelais), Daniel Bibi Biziwu (ASM Clermont Auvergne), Yoan Tanga (Racing 92), Florian Verhaeghe (Montpellier Hérault Rugby), Tani Vili (ASM Clermont Auvergne) and Florent Vanverberghe (Castres Olympique).
