European Markets Plummet at Noon Due to Heightened Bank Pressure, Trading Halted for Some; BCPP Experiences Wave of Selling, Koruna Depreciates, Oil Prices Drop, and Gold Values Scatter

In the course of the morning, the European stock markets weakened very strongly, mainly because of the renewed “crazy” mood in the banking sector. The mood in the USA in this regard is rising again after a short pause in interest rates, and this development is spreading to the old continent as well. the bad mood is strengthened by the fact that trading with several European banks has stopped, which led to an unusually strong drop in the price of their shares. The main “perpetrator” in this case is Credit Suisse and its decline of about 20% in response to the exit of its first investor, which is the Saudi National Bank, in the sense that we cannot provide financial assistance to the bank one day, because it would affect the payment regulatory limits. Among others, the title is in a strong decline and trading has been suspended in the European banking sector, its aggregate index is weakening by approx. 4.6%, involving, for example, SoGe, UniCredit, Monte dei Paschi and others.

Investi will look for daily macros from the US in the form of PPI and retail needs.

The Eurodollar is uncertain.

The koruna is weakening against the euro and the dollar.

BCPP follows the general European situation and weakens significantly under the main pressure on bank securities, with the exception of Moneta. The negative mood also spread to EZ, which slightly corrects public growth.

The results of VIG for 4Q22, it seems, do not have a significant impact on the day-to-day for this title.
