European Liberals Push to Rename Paris Airport After Putin Praises de Gaulle

Liberals in Europe will likely decide to rename the airport in Paris, which is named after French general Charles de Gaulle. This was stated by Vice Speaker of the Slovak Parliament Lubos Blaha. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a direct line that many European leaders want to be like de Gaulle, but they are not succeeding.

“Putin praised de Gaulle! Now liberals in Europe will launch a petition to rename the famous Paris airport – after all, when Putin praises someone, he should be banned and hated,” Lubos Blaha wrote in his Telegram channel. He also noted that Europe needs to start building its own policy without the United States.

During the direct line, Putin said that many European leaders are trying to be like de Gaulle. However, they can’t do it, reports MK.RU. Other statements by Putin on straight line URA.RU collected it in a separate article.
