The handball players of Tatran Prešov achieved their second victory in the European League when they defeated the leader of the A-group Montpellier HB 35:27 at home.
They laid the foundation for victory already in the first half, after which they led by nine goals (19:10). Experienced Oliver Rábek, who scored 10 goals, pulled them to a valuable triumph.
For Prešov, it is the second victory from the past three EL matches, after which they hope to advance to the next stage. The four best teams from the basic group will advance. The team from Prešov has a two-point deficit on the fourth-placed Benfica, while both teams still have two games to play in the group.
