Global automobile manufacturers targeting the European electric vehicle market attended the ‘Paris Motor Show 2024’, which opened on the 14th (local time).

A large number of European brands, led by France-based Renault Group and Peugeot, participated in the Paris Motor Show, Europe’s largest automobile exhibition, which celebrates its 126th anniversary this year. In a large exhibition space of more than 5,000 m², the Renault Group introduced seven new cars and two concept cars from its affiliated brands, including Renault, Dacia, Alpine, and Mobilize, for the first time in the world. The electric vehicle placed in the front by Renault is the ‘Renault 4 E-Tech Electric’. It is an urban pure electric vehicle that incorporates Renault’s latest technology in a modern reinterpretation of the original Renault 4 that appeared in the 1960s.

“We will become the number one pure electric vehicle company in Europe in the future,” said Renault Brand CEO Fabrice Kamboliv. “We will pursue two strategies, E-TECH hybrid and pure electric vehicle, until 100% electrification.”
