To the attention of international road freight carriers of Ukraine
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine has held talks with colleagues from other transport departments and to date, the following routes have been provided for the return of cars to Ukraine:
Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia
Vehicles located in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – special transit permits are issued at the Budzisko checkpoint (on the Polish side – road 8, on the Lithuanian side – A5) according to the following schedule: 26.02.2022 from 10:00 to 20:00 27.2, 2022 from 10:00 to 20:00.
Information about the further schedule for issuing these permits will be announced later.
Russia and Belarus
Vehicles located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, without permits, can cross the border with the Republic of Lithuania and Latvia.
Vehicles located on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and 02/26/2022 will cross the border, will be able to obtain permission from the Republic of Poland at the Kozlovichi/Kukuriki checkpoint.
Finland
Vehicles in Finland will be able to transit through the Republic of Estonia and the Republic of Lithuania and Latvia without permits and obtain a special permit from the Republic of Poland at the Budzisko checkpoint (from the Polish side – road 8, from the Lithuanian side – A5).
Georgia, Bulgaria and Romania
Georgia, Bulgaria and Romania also confirmed their willingness to let Ukrainian vehicles pass without permits, however, in order to ensure travel on this route, information on the name of the road carrier and vehicle numbers must be provided.
Turkey
Turkey can be transited by vehicles of Euro-3 and above without permits in accordance with the agreements of the meeting of the Joint Commission on International Road Transport.
Please take this into account when planning transportation.
Why is it important?
1. We take care of our carriers and do everything to ensure that road transport is carried out unhindered during a military invasion.
2. Now we are working to ensure proper transport communication of civil and cargo across the territory of Ukraine. Humanitarian support from our allies makes sense when it can be delivered to Ukraine.
