Róbert Boženík has attracted the attention of several European clubs thanks to his strong performances with Portuguese side Boavista. A winter departure is obvious, which will also make the cash register ring at Feyenoord.
The former Feyenoord player has eight goals and two assists to his name in sixteen games this season. Boženík also made himself heard with the Slovak national team this season, with a goal and an assist on Feyenoord defender Dávid Hancko in qualifying matches for the 2024 European Football Championship. The Slovaks have now qualified and will be in a group with Romania, Belgium and the winner of the play-offs between Bosnia, Israel, Ukraine and Iceland.
Several clubs, including Torino, Bologna FC 1909 and Lille OSC, have shown concrete interest in the Slovak goalgetter. Lille OSC was already interested last summer, but his current club Boavista managed to prevent a deal. Boavista already rented the Slovak from Feyenoord a season earlier and lifted the purchase option of two and a half million euros last summer.
