European art and nature spaces debate at CDAN

Within the framework of the initiative New European Bauhaus, in which Huesca Art and Nature Center is an official partner of the European Commission, the next Friday, December 3 different experiences promoted by Italy, France and Portugal that share with the CDAN the theme of art, nature and landscape.

With the name of naturalize, this forum aims to broadening the European debate on art as a means of returning to nature, which must be at the center of action in the 21st century. The philosophy of the New European Bauhaus promotes precisely improving the quality of life of the places we inhabit, from sustainability, beauty and inclusion.

On the other hand, and also within the framework of the association that CDAN maintains with the New European Bauhaus, the center is developing the CDAN GO! project, Green & Orange, a reference to promoting the green economy (with nature) and the orange economy (with artistic creativity). This initiative will be developed over the next few years through debates, meetings and community building.

The meeting will be opened by Isabel García Muñoz, MEP, Marcos Ros, MEP member of the Culture Commission of the European Parliament and coordinator of the Friendship Group with the New European Bauhaus, and Francesc Boya, Secretary General for the Demographic Challenge of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge. This first part will address the meaning of the New European Bauhaus and the opportunity it represents for new ways of living in the 21st century, in the context of the relationships between art, architecture and landscape, between urban and rural environments. The conference will then address the cross-border cooperation projects that CPIFP Montearagón (Huesca) and Lycée Adriana (Tarbes) are developing in the field of landscaping.
