Your context

The Department of Regulation and International Affairs (DRAI) provides prospective monitoring to identify the key issues for the regulation of financial markets, proposes guidelines in terms of regulatory policy and supports the Authority’s positions in European bodies and international. It organizes consultation with market professionals and coordinates the regulator’s advisory bodies. It coordinates the participation of the AMF in international and European work. Within this Directorate, the European and International Affairs Division (DAEI) intervenes:

  • at the international level, by coordinating the AMF’s contribution to the work of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), the Financial Stability Board (FSB) and other international organizations; at European level, by playing an active role with the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and other European bodies;
  • in the organization of the AMF’s multilateral and bilateral cooperation and its relations with its foreign counterparts.

Your mission
You will contribute to the implementation of the missions that fall under the division, in connection with the other divisions of the DRAI and the operational departments of the AMF. Under the direction of the assistant director, you will intervene for:

  • Contribute to the preparation of AMF positions in European and international bodies (ESMA, IOSCO, FSB): cabinet work, drafting of briefings, analysis notes and speeches intended in particular for the Chairman or Secretary General of the AMF , internal transversal coordination and with foreign counterparts, responses to questionnaires, etc. ;
  • Establishment and maintenance of a network (European and international institutions, counterparts, etc.) with a view to promoting the Authority’s positions, monitoring of news from the AMF’s main counterparts, organization of bilateral meetings, contribution to actions internal and external communication / training, etc.

Your profile

With an initial higher education in Economics, Finance, Law, Political Science, you have a good knowledge of the financial markets sector. You benefit from a first experience, if possible in an international environment.
