I expect North Macedonia to make the necessary changes, because if this is not done, it will mean stopping the negotiation process with Europe.
This was announced by the European ambassador to North Macedonia, David Geary, Nova Macedonia reported.
He added that he hoped the country would enter the European Union. In reality, the support will continue.
If the agreed changes are not introduced, the country will remain without a negotiated contract, which will make it difficult to implement reforms. Albania will probably continue the negotiations alone.
Geary explained that this was simply stating the facts. That is why he expects real solutions.
For the introduction of the changes in the basic law, the Macedonian parliament must gather a large majority. However, the opposition refuses to support them.
The idea is to give status to the Bulgarians in the state.
