Mihaela Neagu also owns the Bod sugar factory through Best Achiziții SRL, in which she is the majority shareholder. The entrepreneur also partially controls the Luduș sugar factory, which she bought from the French company Tereos, together with Mihail-Daniel Matache.

Luminița Teodorescu also owns, according to termene.ro, 50% of the shares of the company Milucris Top SRL, whose main activity is restaurants.

The unit is located on a plot of 50,000 square meters and has a collection capacity of over 30,000 tons of waste per month. The waste is subsequently transformed for reuse, the recycling capacity being up to 120 tons of waste per hour, depending on the type of waste processed.

The company collects from all over the country, with its own suitable means of transport, 10 types of waste including construction, industrial, paper and cardboard, textiles, electrical and electronic, glass, wood or food, etc.

“We started this business from the idea that we need to bring modern technology to the Romanian market, which would allow us to recycle as many types of waste as possible and contribute to the elimination of landfills. The burying of waste from demolition and construction is a major problem in Romania, which is why we brought the solution to recycle this waste. The main materials that are recovered from construction and demolition waste are: asphalt, concrete, wood, plasterboard walls, asphalt shingles, metals, etc. By recycling them, as finished products we can obtain: aggregates for asphalt carpets, filling structures, absorption products, etc. We also have the ability to recycle electrical and electronic waste, glass, wood, plastic materials and textiles”, explained the entrepreneur.

According to her, the Crevedia unit has the capacity to completely eliminate waste storage and incineration. Thus, as a result of recycling, finished and/or reused products are obtained, without the need for transport to a landfill.

“The circular economy concept presents a compelling alternative that not only takes environmental sustainability into account, but also holds immense potential for economic growth and social development. (…) We started the activity and have a number of clients in our portfolio. We hope that in the future we will expand and be able to operate at full capacity”, says the entrepreneur.

It employs 30 people

Europe Waste Management currently has 20 employees, but plans to hire another 30 in the coming period.

“Increasing the number of staff is required considering that the services offered are not only waste collection services, but also environmental consulting and auditing.”

Europe Waste Management reported for last year, the year of establishment, 300,000 lei net turnover.
