Europe Warns of Monkeypox, in Portugal 5 People Infected

The UK previously reported its first case of monkeypox on May 7 and found six additional cases in the country.

Four of the cases found in the UK identified themselves as gaybisexual or other men who have sex with other men, the UK Health Safety Agency (UKHSA) says.

Latest, authority Portugal as of Wednesday (18/5) has identified five cases of rare monkeypox infection and health services.

Five patients in Portugal of the 20 suspected cases all are stable. They are all male and live in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley areas, health authorities say Portugal.
