The celebration Various for Germany (AFD), together with others seven far-right political teams from seven nations, immediately introduced the creation of the “Europe of Sovereign Nations” group within the European Parliament.
With 25 elected members, together with 14 members from the Various for Germany (AfD), this new far-right political group can have two co-chairs, Rene Aust of the Various for Germany (AfD) and Stanislaw Tiszka of the Polish Far proper, “Confederation” (Confederation).
“Europe of Sovereign Nations” consists of the next political teams:
- Various for Germany (AfD): 14 MEPs.
- Confederation of Poland: 3 MEPs.
- Rebirth of Bulgaria: 3 MEPs.
- The French celebration Reconquête: 1 MEP.
- Slovak Republic: 1 MEP.
- Freedom and Direct Republic of the Czech Republic (SPD): 1 MEP.
- Hungarian Motion for our Homeland: 1 MEP.
- Union of Folks and Justice of Lithuania: 1 MEP.
It’s recalled that on July 8, the brand new far-right group was created “Patriots of Europe‘, led by France’s ‘Nationwide Rally’ and Hungary’s ‘Fidesz’, which replaces the previous group ‘Id and Democracy’. The “Patriots of Europe” group, with 84 elected members from 13 nations, is the third largest political group in seats within the European Parliament, after the EPP and the Social Democrats.
The Frenchman Jordan Bardela was elected president of this group by the Nationwide Coalition, which has 30 MEPs. The group additionally consists of the next members: Hungarian Fidesz (11 MEPs), Italian League (8), Czech ANO (7), Czech Oath and Motorists (2), Austrian FPÖ (6), Dutch PVV (6), Spanish VOX (6), Belgian Vlaams Belang (3), Portuguese CHEGA (2), Danish Folks’s Celebration (1), Greek Voice of Purpose (1) and Latvia First (1).
The Group of European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) which is dominated by Giorgia Meloni’s “Brothers of Italy” with 24 MEPs, now counts 78 MEPs, after the departure of the 6 members of the Spanish Vox who selected to affix the “Patriots of Europe”.
