The EP plenary was dominated this week by the debate on Hungary. Now there was the Hungarian law, which forbids the explicit portrayal and promotion of homosexuality and gender reassignment in schools where children are not minors, and in television commercials, which children have access to. The left in the EP has proposed a resolution condemning Hungary and proposing that its payments from the EU fund be suspended. The draft proel (it would probably not be feasible to stop payments for this conclusion, it is just a declaration). I voted against him. For?
First, I recommend waiting for the application of konco in practice. It is certainly possible to criticize the Hungarian concordance, but it is formulated very vgn and its actual impact, I think, will not be as it should be at all. They do not know that they will forbid the analysis of literary works by Shakespeare or Verlain. Anyone who visits Budapest can see for themselves that homosexuals are not discriminatory. Work registered partnerships, first run the Pride festival and the rainbow flags are seen everywhere. Yes, laws do not allow the adoption of homosexuals (individuals can adopt after approval) or homosexual marriages. But Hungary is no exception, the situation is similar.
Secondly, the only actual impact of the action, in my opinion, will be that we will gain control over how and how non-governmental organizations will engage in sexual education. Simply put, it wants to defend the invasion of children in rounds, where different gender activists tell young children that gender is the same choice. Just put confusion in their heads. This is, of course, medically and biologically nonsense.
