Europe is experiencing artificial destruction of gas demand for the first time in history. The head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, spoke about this.

Deliberate destruction of demand for one of the most environmentally friendly energy products,” Miller said during a meeting dedicated to summing up the preliminary results of the year, TASS reports. According to him, such actions led to deindustrialization in many European countries.

Earlier, the general director of the Srbijagaz company, deputy chairman of the Serbian Socialist Party, Dusan Bajatovic, reported that European countries are moving toward deindustrialization amid the loss of cheap Russian gas. In his opinion, prices in Europe will not return to their previous levels, reports RT. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak noted that Europe has reduced gas consumption by more than 100 billion cubic meters since 2021. m. He said that by the end of 2023, gas consumption is 490 billion cubic meters.
