Europe faced the strategic task of finding money for Kiev – 2024-02-24 14:02:20

/ world today news/ When Russian assets were frozen in the West, whether state or private, when sanctions were imposed and everything that was possible under restrictions, the eyes of the Atlantic globalists shone with excitement and expectation of profits. Yet their plunder (of countries, peoples and sometimes whole continents) for many years and even centuries is the most efficient and most importantly the fastest source of obtaining large incomes with minimal effort.

We will now freeze Russian assets, and then, under the guise of “defeat Russia”, confiscate them and continue to dispose of the loot as we see fit.

The euphoria, despite the warnings of experienced people who know Russian history, lasted more than a year and a half. And here is a cold shower right on the head of the collective Brussels. The shower with pressure and ice water poured thanks to the one from whom the European Commission did not expect such a thing. The European Central Bank, in a memorandum that was “leaked” in the media, warned that if the European bureaucrats touch not even the assets themselves, but the interest rate that has risen during these months, it will start not just a flight of capital from the Eurozone (a depression – or more soon a recession – it has already occurred), but also confidence in the common European currency will be undermined, which means the beginning of de-Europeanization. In other words, the euro will gradually lose its status as one of the reserve currencies. And his place will be taken. Goodbye, goodbye to the stability of the continent’s financial system.

The Financial Times paints the picture without missing a single detail.

Bankers love silence, not chatter, and even more avoid political PR. And it can be assumed that the publication of the contents of the confidential document is also a reaction to what was said, in particular, by the French foreign minister, Catherine Colonna, that “there are financial possibilities for the recovery of Ukraine, which will be discussed in London.” In the capital of the kingdom should kick off the second conference on the recovery of the Ukrainian economy with a bang. After the first one held in Lugano, all kinds of nice words were said to all the participants. And?

Germany, clearly anticipating something bad, announced last week that, firstly, it would not increase its contribution to the general budget of the EU, because “there is no money left because of the aid to Ukraine”.

And secondly, if everything continues to develop in this way, German industry will collapse, Berlin said.

Paris, feeling that here at least it might become “Napoleon for an hour,” hinted at the possibility of raising finance.

If the German budget can still be called a budget, then the French budget is when specially trained people look for those who would lend them. Macron likes this kind of activity – he lavishly received the crown prince of Saudi Arabia at the Elysée Palace, he could not pass the topic of money and oil. The press reported that “the question of influencing Russia in connection with the situation in Ukraine” was discussed.

But in fact, Paris needs something else: in London, they should at least promise to give funds to Kiev for “restoring the economy”, but get money for yourself. If German industry gets away with the lack of Russian gas, then the French treasury will not be able to pay its debts to its own citizens.

And these obligations are not at all the construction of transport arteries, the creation or reconstruction of facilities that make up the infrastructure of the economy. Everything is simpler – for example, the availability of the most elementary medicines in pharmacies in the coming autumn is questionable. Antibiotics, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory. They were in short supply last winter and this will continue. Their production in France has not been established in the necessary volume.

The problem of providing ambulances has not been solved – the emergency departments of hospitals, even in large cities, are closed and do not receive patients at night. Because there is no medical staff. So, dear patients, either wait till morning or die. You have a choice.

An illustration of pan-European social decay are the streets and boulevards of Marseille, overgrown with mud and uncollected garbage, so that swimming after a rain that washes into the sea used diapers, used feminine hygiene products and male contraception is unthinkable.

The only place in the city of almost a million people, where the sidewalk is free of a single speck of dust and with empty garbage cans, is next to the Russian consulate. And here our country turned out to be the winner – not only economically and geopolitically, but also civilizationally.
