“Europe Day Celebrations in Besançon: Fun, Educational, and Family Events”

On Saturday May 6 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Place de la Révolution, Europe will be honored through several fun, educational and family events:

• A German refreshment bar offered by the Consonances Association
• A space for discovering German culture and language
  Proposed by the Maison de Rhénanie-Palatinat, Franco-German cultural center in BFC
• Informative stands on study programs, internships and volunteering abroad
  With Infos Jeunes BFC, the association of European students ESN, Bourgogne Franche-Comté International, the University of Franche-Comté and the House of Rhineland-Palatinate and on language courses at CLA
• The discovery of Romania and in particular the town of Bistrita twinned with Besançon
  With the association Franche-Sylvanie
• The discovery of partner regions and cooperation frameworks of the BFC Region
• An informative space on the European Union, its history and how it works, a mosaic of chalk flags, a giant map, quizzes…
  With the House of Europe in BFC
• A space for debate and ideas
  With the European Franche-Comté Movement
• An informative stand proposed by the Tourist Office of Freiburg in Brisgau, twinned city with Besançon, invited on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty and Franco-German cooperation
• Radio Campus live from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  Followed by the Folka Danse concert at 4 p.m.
