Nationalgeographic.co.id—The team from the Natural History Museum (NHM), London announced on National Astronomy Meeting on July 23, 2021 that the ExoMars Explorer “Rosalind Franklin” is being prepared to hunt meteorit on the Planet Mars. ExoMars Rosalind Franklin was previously planned to launch sometime in July or August 2021, but has been postponed until now.

In its presentation at the meeting, the NHM team was paving the way for future explorers Mars is to look for meteorit. Scientists use collection meteorit a wider range to test the instrument spectra intended for the ExoMars rover Rosalind Franklin. To then develop tools to identify meteorit on the surface of the red planet.

The crater surface of the red planet, as is well known, has a long and complex history. Searching for a stone among more stones may seem like a pointless activity. Nonetheless, explorer Mars statistically has a “find per mile” success rate, which is much higher than hunting meteorit especially on Earth.
