Europa League: Slovenian Vincic whistles the final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Glasgow Rangers

Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic will referee the EuropeanLeague-Final between the Bundesliga soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt and the traditional Scottish club Glasgow Rangers.

His two assistants for the final in Seville, Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic, also come from Slovenia, as the European Football Union UEFA announced.

Vincic has been on international assignments since 2010. So far, the 42-year-old Slovenian has officiated nine Champions League games, including this season’s quarter-final second leg between Bayern Munich and FC Villarreal.

Frenchman Turpin directs CL final

The Champions League final between Real Madrid and Jurgen Klopps FC Liverpool on May 28 (9 p.m.) in Paris, the French referee Clément Turpin whistles.

Three German referees will be in action at the final of the Conference League on May 25 (9:00 p.m.) between AS Roma and Feyenoord Rotterdam: Marco Fritz (Korb) acts as video assistant referee (VAR); he is supported by his compatriots Christian Dingert (Lebecksmühle) and Bastian Dankert (Rostock). The referee of the game is the Romanian Istvan Kovacs.
