The day after the second leg of the playoffs, the round of 16 of the Europa League was drawn on Friday with Bayer 04 Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt secured their place in the round of 16 last year by finishing first in the group stage.
They were joined on Thursday by RB Leipzig, who won the second leg of the playoffs against Real Sociedad San Sebastian (3-1).
After the 2:4 in the first leg, Borussia Dortmund also disappointed in the second leg of the second leg yesterday evening (2:2) against Glasgow Rangers and were thrown out.
