The sixteenth final second leg of FC Red Salzburg against Eintracht Frankfurt has been sold out for weeks!
With 1,500 spectators in the Eintracht sector in the Red Bull Arena and a total of around 5,000 guest fans, there will be a large amount of fans and traffic around the Red Bull Arena.
In order to enable every visitor to the stadium to arrive on time, the Mozartstadt team agreed with the authorities on the following traffic concept, which will come into force next Thursday and will lead to a number of changes.
Parking lot regulation and roadblocks
On February 27, 2020 there will be no parking spaces for spectators without appropriate parking permits as part of the return leg of the UEFA Europa League 1/16 final against Eintracht Frankfurt due to an officially prescribed security zone on the entire stadium grounds and in the vicinity of the Red Bull Arena.
In addition, roadblocks (including Stadionstraße) will come into effect from 4 p.m., so that access to the stadium car park will only be possible via the Salzburg Mitte roundabout. Due to the security zone around the guest sector, Kleßheimer Allee is also closed to the passageway.
Due to the sold-out encounter and the unique new parking lot situation, it is strongly recommended to arrive early for the game or use public transport. Here is some more information:
- Match card = public transport ticket from six hours before the start of the game until the end of operations.
- The “Night Star” of Salzburg AG buses is active.
- Free shuttle to and from the Messe car park, car park DOC (car park 1) and Hanuschplatz from three hours before kick-off (6:00 p.m.) until one hour after the end of the game.
- The “Hanuschplatz” shuttle drives to the OST bus terminal instead of Kleßheimer Allee.
- The OST bus terminal is available for all wheelchair users.
