We have learned the lineups for the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals between West Ham United and Bayer Leverkusen.
Bayer Leverkusen enters the Europa League semi-final as the newly minted German champion. The Aptekars guaranteed themselves the title five rounds before the end, winning 5-0 against Werder Bremen. The home fans were already running onto the pitch before the final whistle.
This is a fantastic season for Bayer Leverkusen, not only in terms of what the previous one looked like. The new German champion scored 79 points in 29 matches, without suffering a single defeat. He did not do the same in any other competition and the last defeat of the BayArena team took place in May 2023.
The first match between the two teams in Leverkusen ended with a 2-0 victory for Xabi Alonso’s team.
When it comes to absences, none of the players important to both teams is currently injured.
The match will be broadcast on the Viaplay streaming platform. First whistle at 9:00 p.m.
