A County Cork bettor scores a spectacular victory with just three lucky numbers, allowing a four-digit sum to go straight to his bank account.
The anonymous customer placed his bet through his BoyleSports account online, picking four numbers for Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
They opted for a $ 5 Yankee bet totaling $ 55, with the four-number landing odds set at 33,000/1.
They were hoping 3, 10, 23 and 29 would roll out and they only needed two of the numbers to make a net profit, but it got even better when three of the four numbers gave up and triggered the big payout.
When all the winnings were tallied, it generated an astonishing windfall of € 9,020 on a € 55 investment.
