Mega Jackpot of 230 million euros
The Euromillions company is again putting into play 230 million euros: a mega jackpot never reached, after the previous sums of 200 million euros, 210 million euros, and 220 million euros. You have to find the five correct numbers (out of 50), and the two correct stars (out of 12). The probability of finding the right combination is less than 1 chance out of just under 140 million, but all you have to do is give the right combination to pocket this jackpot!
A jackpot to be shared between the winners
If several people tick the winning combination, the jackpot is shared between them. And if, conversely, no player has chosen the winning numbers, the amount will be rolled over four times in a row. You have until 8:15 p.m. this Friday to play online and try to win the fabulous jackpot. The answer will be available an hour later, around 9:15 p.m., on the FDJ website or application.
A theoretical maximum jackpot of 250 million euros
According to the current rules dating from 2020, the European lottery jackpot can reach a maximum of 250 million euros.
Beware of emotional shock
The emotional shock arriving when the winning ticket is discovered can statistically cause a fatal heart attack in one out of 28 cases. This makes you think… But it’s just one more stat, which means nothing.
These stats are just stats…
Chance! It is a game of chance. Thinking that every number has to come out the same number of times is sheer madness. Chance can cause some to come out more than others… That’s all. You have to accept it. Statistics and probabilities are only calculations and are in no way deterministic. They do not make it possible to anticipate the next draws. However, if it reassures you to rely on statistics to make your choice of numbers, treat yourself. After all, it will be your money that will be spent.
Online survey: choice of numbers, most often or least often released?
No, scrutinizing past draws is absolutely useless. Many sites publish totally stupid stats: statistics on previous draws, with totals on outgoing numbers. Moreover, even the French Games, in front of the request of the players gave in to their whims and publishes the statistics on the past draws. Obviously, the draws are completely random, and there is absolutely no memory effect on the draws…
The n°9 ball cannot know that it has already gone out 36 times in the last 5 years. So no need to count its number of exits. A ball that has come out less often is no more likely to come out than the others in future draws, or vice versa. These published stats have no implications for subsequent draws. But some players rely on these stats to pick their numbers. After all, everyone chooses their method to leave things to chance.
With 230 million euros… You can become an annuitant, easily…
EuroMillions: 1 in 139,838,160 chance of winning the jackpot
THE only real stat is this. You have more chance of perishing from a nuclear attack, drowning on a boat, being run over while crossing the road, dying of a heart attack… than winning EuroMillions! But with a low bet, taking such a gain, in the end, it would be a shame not to take advantage of it… And then, great satisfaction, it bails out the state coffers, so in the end, even non-players are winners !
