On Friday February 3, 25 French people each had the chance to win one million euros. A sum they won by participating in the “rain of a hundred millionaires”, organized by the Française des Jeux and Euromillions.
One of the winning tickets belonged to a resident of the department of Ain who played in a Ferney-Voltaire press centernot far from the Swiss border.
Two winners did not appear
The winners, from both Ardèche, Charente-Maritime and even southern Corsica, are “regular and occasional players”, specifies the Française des Jeux (FDJ).
Their winnings were recently presented to them at the FDJ headquarters in Paris and all expressed their wishes for travel, the purchase of a car or real estate.
All mention wanting to help or spoil their loved ones. Some also want to accelerate their retirement. Others have more original plans, including buying an olive grove to produce their own old-fashioned olive oil. Three winners have already taken advantage of this exceptional opportunity to sign a sales agreement, resign a few years from retirement or dine in a starred restaurant.
Among the 25 winners, two latecomers have not yet come forward. They validated their grids in the Drôme and in the North with the codes FSGQ57281 and FDDH55659. They have until Tuesday, April 4 at 11:59 p.m. to make themselves known.
