Euromillions: a British woman working two jobs pockets nearly a million euros

There are great stories that we would like to hear more often. This is the case of that of Sally-Ann Hanitzsch. Until then, this 55-year-old Briton held two jobs to make ends meet.

That was before winning a EuroMillions jackpot. The mother of the family pocketed the sum of 838,125 pounds, i.e. 948,330 eurosin the December 2, 2022 draw.

A verified lottery ticket… one month after the draw

“The victory means that I will be able to recover some of this time and also help my family financially,” she said, as reported by the BBC.

Since the big news, Sally-Ann Hanitzsch has quit her job at the supermarket, but has pledged to continue on city council. “I’m only 55, I love my job and my board colleagues,” she said.
