The Playstation 5 is nowhere to be found. Or rather, it is on eBay, at crazy prices of almost 1000 euros. Yet there are those in Italy who ensure that they have a whole stock in stock and he decided to even sell it below cost. In recent days a very strong advertising campaign for the site has started euromediashop.com, an e-tailer from Brindisi who is distributing paper flyers in northern Italy where the unobtainable Playstation 5 is sold for 419 euros in the disc version and 349 euros in the all-digital version. Same fate for Xbox Series X and Series S: even they, despite being practically unavailable, sold below cost.
What many are wondering is whether Euromediashop is reliable: it’s hard to forget sottocosto.online, the Cremona site that accepted orders for goods never delivered, using a radio advertising campaign to activate customers.
By Euromediashop there are no opinions online: the site is too recent, it was only recorded in October, and we have not found on the different review sites, such as TrustPilot, opinions of people who have regularly purchased from them. The only reviews are those left by some profiles on the Facebook page created in October, profiles that don’t seem too active like Vincenzo Galeone, who last posted a video on his page in January 2019.

Euromediashop offers a toll-free number (registered on the free service https://www.verdericaricabile.it), has a warehouse with an address and the owner, Christian Ciciriello, in the past few groups answered the cell phone to customers who called him, also sending photos of the warehouses full of Playstations to those who, a little doubtful, request them.
We have obviously contacted both Sony and Microsoft asking them for information, and at the moment they have not made any statements and are doing checks. However, our interlocutors were quite surprised by the “below cost” price: in recent weeks – many operators told us – we have only heard news of jackals trying to resell the new consoles at a price two or three times higher than the selling price.
So why would an entrepreneur, if he really had the Playstation 5 in stock ready for delivery, should sell them below cost when these consoles are nowhere to be found and could sell them without problems at full price?
We tried to call the owner to ask him, but at the moment he doesn’t answer or puts down: we are obviously at your disposal for an interview whenever you want.
In the meantime, many doubts remain, too many to trust in making a purchase at this stage: we recommend caution while waiting for you to be able to see a little clearer.
