Two goals by Mavropanos (23′, 83′), two by Masouras (70, 90+1′) and one by Pelkas (9′)
Gibraltar’s Greece prevailed 5-0 at the OPAP Arena, in the sixth matchday of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Our national team had universal supremacy from the first minute and opened the scoring only in the 9th minute with Pelkas. Mavropanos scored Greece’s second goal in the 23rd minute with Pelkas this time providing the assist. Masouras scored the third goal of the match in the 70th minute.
Mavropanos in the 83′ scored his second personal goal for 4-0, with Masoura also scoring twice and shaping the result in the 90+1′.
Thus, the National Team reached the three wins in the group and has collected nine points. They are in third place behind the Netherlands, who have the same points, but are better in the tie, and have played a game less.
In the next matchday Greece are hosted by Ireland in a crucial game (13/10) before home battles with the Netherlands (16/10, 21:45) and France (21/11, 20:45).
