From Group A, a fierce match was held at the Estadio Olimpico de Cartuja, Friday (13/10/2023) early morning WIB, when the hosts Spanish facing Scotland.
La Furia Roja had to struggle to beat Scotland 2-0 through goals from Alvaro Morata and Oihen Sancet in the final 15 minutes of the match. Spain is close to Scotland at the top of Group A with just three points and one game in hand.
The competition became even tighter because Norway also won 4-0 at home to Cyprus, where Erling Haaland scored two goals. Norway is in third place in the group with 10 points from six matches.
From Group D, Turkey won 1-0 at home to third place 2022 World Cup Croatia at the Opus Arena, thanks to Burak Yilmaz’s goal in the 30th minute. Turkey, which has 13 points from six matches, pushed Croatia (10 points) from the top of Group D, having only played five times.
Albania surprisingly beat the Czech Republic in the Group E match with a score of 3-0. Poland won 2-0 at home to the Faroe Islands.

From Group I, Andorra was defeated by Kosovo 0-3 at home. Meanwhile, Belarus vs Romania ended goalless. One match was not held between Israel vs Switzerland because the hosts were experiencing domestic turmoil.
