Italy, Belgium, Holland, English, Sweden, and French progressed as group winners. Wales, Denmark, Austria, Croatia, Spain and Germany are the group runners-up.
The other four countries were taken from the best third position slot among the six groups. There are Portugal, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Ukraine. Finland and Slovakia became the two countries that fell through this special table.
Turkey, who has been strong since the qualifying phase, should be bottom of the group. Russia, North Macedonia, Scotland, Poland and Hungary were also left out as caretakers.
Well, the round of 16 presents a fierce match when Portugal as the champion of Euro 2016 meets Belgium, who is the semifinalist of the 2018 World Cup. Belgium vs Portugal will be held at La Cartuja Stadium, Seville, Monday (28/6/2021) early morning WIB.
Not only Belgium vs Portugal, there is also a meeting between two arch-rivals, namely England and Germany at Wembley, Tuesday (29/6) evening WIB.
Another interesting match between England vs Germany at Wembley. The Three Lions have a big advantage because they play at home.
France as the 2018 World Cup champions faced Switzerland. Italy, trying to bounce back from its gloomy past, meets Austria.
