French National Team defeated by Switzerland in the round of 16 match EURO 2020 on Monday (28/6/2021) local time.
The match, which was held at the National Arena, Bucharest, Romania, ended in a 3-3 draw in normal time.
Switzerland had surprised France by scoring the first goal in the 15th minute through Haris Seferovic.
France also rose and turned to lead the score through goals from Karim Benzema (57′, 59′), and Paul pogba (75′).
However, Switzerland did not give up easily by scoring two late goals from Haris Seferovic (81′) and Mario Gavranovic (90′).
Swiss National Team also came out victorious after defeating France in the penalty shootout with a score of 5-4.
Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe is the only player to miss a penalty kick.
