Fifteen wounded on the night of Monday in Milan demanded the celebrations of Italy’s triumph in the finals of the 2020 European Football Championship over England in an eleven shootout. Three people were seriously injured, the Ansa agency reported.

One of the injured lost a finger on his hand after the explosion of the pyrotechnics. Several fans had to take emergency medical service vehicles. Police had to intervene sporadically in the square near the Milan Cathedral in an effort to maintain public order.
Immediately after the final match, fans took to the streets in all the big cities of Italy and celebrated winning the title. In Rome, hundreds of trumpet cars and motorcycles blocked the main routes, and people waved the flags of Italy. Only a small proportion of people wore veils and kept a safe distance from others.
