Flash electric bike from an American manufacturer Eunors should stand out as stunning with a range of up to 350 kilometers. It reaches this value thanks to three batteries, says Electrek.
In addition to the version with one, two or three accumulators of the South Korean brand LG, future customers will be able to choose from three configurations of electric motors with different parameters. But really only in the future, because the bike is still only part of the project on the crowdfunding portal Indiegogo.
No worries about the range
The manufacturer presents the Eunorau Flash electric bike as a machine where you won’t have to worry about mileage. “Driving will take you anywhere in your city, or even to another city” states on Indiegogo that the bicycle has successfully completed an approximately three hundred kilometer route between the US states of New York and New Jersey.
The bike with a moped-like construction, 20″ wide tires and angular frame can be powered by one or two electric motors with a maximum power of up to 1500 watts. It will offer a seat for two riders, who will be provided with sufficient riding comfort by the suspension of the front and rear forks.
The bike will be equipped hydraulic disc brakes and front and rear LED lighting. It will also be possible to purchase a set of fenders, which comes with a headlight protector. From the information available, it doesn’t look like the Flash can be equipped with luggage racks or baskets, so for daily rides it will be best to carry a backpack.
Cheaper than we expected
Although the top speed is officially limited to 45 km/h, one of the employees revealed to Electrek that the most powerful version will be able to go “much faster”but without specifying any specific value.
Bicycle will be possible connect to the smartphone app. In it, the user learns, for example, the total distance traveled, driving time, calories burned, average and maximum speed achieved. There will also be an indication of how much CO2 the rider saved by using a bicycle instead of a car.
The basic model, whose pre-sale price will start at 1,499 US dollars (converted to about 32,200 CZK), will be equipped with one electric motor in the hub of the rear wheel with a power of 750 watts and one accumulator. Versions with a power of 1000 or 1500 watts with two or three batteries will be available for an additional fee.
