The actor Eugenio Derbez has lived in the United States for a few years, this in order to be able to work in the film and television industry of this country, in addition to making his way into Hollywood, something that he has achieved little by little. Now the hit comedian reported that one of the movies he worked on, CODA, will participate in the Sundance Film Festival.
Through a post on Instagram, Eugenio Derbez announced to his followers that on January 28, day the Sundance Film Festival starts, the film will be shown CODA, which will be in charge of opening said event.
In the Instagram post, Eugenio Derbez wrote that he is excited that the film CODA forms part of the festival and he mentioned that those who want to see the film can get their access through the event page.
“This year, I am honored to participate in the Sundance Film Festival with the film CODA. I leave this video for you to fall in love with CODA”.
In said video, the actor mentioned that CODA will be in charge of opening the festival, in addition, Sian Heder, the director of the film, also appears in this clip.
The story of CODA revolves around Ruby Rossi, a 17-year-old teenager who works on a fishing boat with her family, who are deaf and mute, yet she is the only listener in her family.
Ruby is in charge of communicating her family with hearing people through sign language And although he is happy with his loved ones and working on the boat, one of his passions is music, something that he manages to develop thanks to his friends from school and his teacher, played by Eugenio Derbez.
