When artists get involved in political issues, sometimes great changes are achieved. And that’s why once again some celebrities unite against the Mayan Train.
This Tuesday in the framework of World Water Daythe ‘Sélvame del tren’ campaign was presented, with the participation of Kate del Castillo, Ofelia Medina, Eugenio Derbez, Omar Chaparro, Natalia Lafourcade and Rubén Albarrán, among others.
The initiative that seeks to modify section 5 of the trainimplied that those involved sent messages to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
“We are not their adversaries, we are Mexicans and we want life for all of us,” Rubén Albarrán spoke.
In various videos, the celebrities involved in the protest ask that the jungle be respected and the felling of trees be avoided, among other vexations against nature.
