EU-supported Films Win Big at 2023 European Film Awards

Five films supported by the European Union were crowned winners at this year’s European Film Awards, taking home a total of seven awards.

Winner of the 36th edition european film awardswhich was held in Berlin Announced during the awards ceremony held on 9 December 2023, the EU-funded front-runners are:

Promised Land (Bastard) by Nikolaj Arcel for best movies, Best costume design and best actor Awarded to Mads Mikkelsen for his role in the film; older sister sauna smoke (Savusanna Sosarat) by Anna instructions for best documentaries; robot dream By Pablo Berger for Best Documentary Film; Club Zero By Jessica Hausner for Best original scoreand Chimera By Alice Rohrwacher for best production design.

The European Union supports the development and dissemination of these results through Creative Europe MEDIA program.
